BIO

Vanessa Rivers grew up on a ranch on the Central Coast of California and attended college at UC Santa Barbara, where she fell in love with surfing. Surfing led Vanessa around the world and it was on one of these trips that she decided to combine her love of the ocean and nature to create an eco-friendly swimwear line, SummerLove Swimwear. Vanessa lived in London for almost seven years before recently re-locating back to California to live in the Pacific Palisades with her family. She spends much of my time traveling, documenting her adventures on her travel blog Glitter&Mud.

Vanessa has visited 45 countries and specializes in surf, snow and luxury travel, working with top brands such as Gansevoort Hotel Group, Four Seasons Hotels, Mandarin Oriental, Nikki Beach and 1 Hotel Group, just to name a few. She is also the Co-Founder of popular global travel community We Are Travel Girls, and she is a proud new mom to a little travel girl in the making named Sadie.

Vanessa Rivers also comes from Hollywood lineage. She is the daughter of late artist Christi Zabel and rock singer Johnny Rivers, stepdaughter of producer Todd Fisher, step-niece of actress Carrie Fisher, step-granddaughter of Hollywood icon Debbie Reynolds, and claims her biggest accomplishment is managing to be semi-normal despite her crazy celebrity family.
